Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our finance team as an Accounts Payable Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy.

Responsibilities:

1. Process and verify a high volume of invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
2. Code, match, and enter invoices into the accounting system.
3. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
4. Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
5. Ensure timely payment of bills and expenses to maintain positive vendor relationships.
6. Communicate with vendors to address payment-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
7. Review and analyze expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
8. Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes related to accounts payable.
9. Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all payable transactions.
10. Contribute to process improvements and efficiency within the accounts payable function.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
3. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
4. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
8. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
9. Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance in accounts payable.
10. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
