Salary: $18.00 - $22.00

A family-owned manufacturer, located in Rome, NY that has been operating and growing for the past 66 years and is looking for a full-time 1st shift Manual Machinist.

Job Responsibilities/Requirements:

• Able to set up and operate manual mills, lathes, and other machines to fabricate parts.
• Able to use calipers, micrometers, depth micrometers, bore gauges and other measuring instruments as required.
• Able to read blueprints and follow instructions on orders to meet customer requirements.
• Check machinery daily to guarantee functionality.
• Capable of operating effectively and meeting aggressive deadlines
• Must demonstrate attention to detail, neatness and communication with personnel and management.
• Able to prioritize orders to maintain a fast work environment.
• Able to lift 25lbs independently.

 

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30AM-4:00PM

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00/hour DOE
