Our client, a fast-growing food distribution company in Framingham, is looking for a Forklift Operator/Warehouse associate to join their team! The position is in a freezer environment, so you must be comfortable working in very cold temperatures.

Schedule: Monday to Friday - 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Pay: $23.00 per hour

Responsibilities of Forklift Operator/Warehouse:

• Review and inspect incoming shipments to ensure the products are in good condition
• Operate a forklift and an electric pallet jack
• Make room for incoming shipments, put away product and rotate product as needed
• Assist delivery drivers with unloading freight
• Perform cycle counts
• Assist in audit preparation and ongoing compliance
• Frequently lift heavy product (up to 100 pounds)
• Heavy manual and ladder work

Qualifications and Experience of Forklift Operator/Warehouse:

• Forklift certification and 3+ years of forklift operation experience
• 5+ years of shipping and receiving/warehouse experience
• Must have a valid driver's license
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be willing to take a background check and drug test
• Ability to lift products up to 75-100 pounds
• Willing to work in cold temperatures (as low as -15 below zero)
• Experience working for a food distributor is a plus
• DOT Medical card is a plus
