Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a detail oriented Logistics Assistant for their client in Detroit, MI. This is a direct hire opportunity with a growing oil distributor. As as Logistics Assistant, you'll work closely with the department manager, supervisor, and drivers of the Environmental Services Department

Logistics Assistant Responsibilities:

• Place, confirm, track and expedite customer orders
• Prepare and distribute shipping documents, hazardous waste manifests, invoices, hazardous waste profiles and other documents
• Maintain environmental compliance documentation and other records
• Order and maintain office supplies
• Resolve invoice discrepancies
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
• Provide back up and reports for month end closing activities

Logistics Assistant Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• Advanced Excel skills - use of vlookup, pivot tables, formulas, graphs/charts
• Experience with order entry into an ERP system
• Detail oriented
