Harvest Laborer

Located in Champaign, IL

Salary: 15/hr

Harvest Workers- Laborers, Scale Operators, and Drivers to help Local Farmers bring in this year’s harvest, in and around Champaign County.

Responsibilities:

Some typical tasks performed may include a combination of the following (Additional duties as deemed necessary by supervisor - Must have reliable transportation as job sites will vary):

Scale Operators

• Greeting and assisting farmers and truck drivers
• Weighing inbound and outbound trucks
• Probing and testing grain
• Data entry and customer service

Laborers

• Assisting in the loading and unloading of grain trucks
• Emptying of grain bins and storage of grain
• Cleaning grain bins and additional elevator maintenance
• Sweeping, mopping, washing, etc.

Qualifications:

Scale Operators

• Customer Service experience preferred
• Comfortable staying on your feet for extended periods of time

Laborers

• Ability to lift 25+ pounds consistently
