As our Compliance Director you need to have a thorough understanding of LIHTC, Section 8 Housing knowledge and prior experience in affordable housing to be considered.
Compliance Director Job Details and Responsibilities:
- Day to day implementation of compliance policies, procedures, and programs that meet goals and objectives
- All ease files are complete and in compliance
- Maintain records of all aspects of management activity on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Keep up to date on all policy and procedures related to Tax Credit, Section 8, and Fair housing standards
- Review initial and recertification files
- Conduct file audits
- Training new and current tax credit employees
- Organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments within a fast-paced work environment.
Requirements
Compliance Director Qualifications:
· 5+ years’ experience in Section 8 compliance and Tax Credit Compliance
· Proven leadership and successful track record of accomplishments
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Thorough understanding of LIHTC and Affordable Housing
· Well organized, detail – oriented, with excellent people skills
· Able to work 40 hours per week
· Ability to travel as needed
