Salary: $23/hr

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Powder Coat Painter to join our client’s team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and growing organization that values expertise and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities: As a Powder Coat Painter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and aesthetics of the products. Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating and maintaining various paint equipment, including guns, ovens, and wash tanks.
• Ensuring smooth and efficient processes to minimize rework and scrap.
• Participating in the setup and operation of the Powder Coating Spray Booth, including color changes, troubleshooting, equipment adjustments, and quality assurance.
• Preparing and processing products for powder applications to meet required specifications.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace through general housekeeping duties.
• Assisting in other departments as needed to support overall production goals.
• Reporting to the Production Foreman to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Requirements: To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with ISO 9002 procedures, demonstrating a commitment to quality standards.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining various paint equipment, including guns, ovens, and wash tanks.
• Previous experience in powder coating of at least 1-2 years required.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Effective problem-solving skills to address equipment issues and optimize processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and report to supervisors.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 LBs
