We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing team. This position requires strong organizational skills, accuracy in financial processing, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment. The ideal candidate understands the importance of precise data entry and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and verify vendor invoices in SAP and QuickBooks, ensuring proper coding and approvals

• Prepare and process payments including checks, ACH, and wire transfers

• Maintain accurate payment records and cash logs for Corporate Accounting

• Reconcile vendor statements and accounts payable aging reports

• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries in a timely manner

• Set up and maintain vendor accounts, including collecting and managing W-9 documentation

• Assist with sales and use tax compliance and reporting

• Prepare and process 1099 forms in accordance with IRS guidelines

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations

• Maintain organized financial records for audit purposes

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Accounts Payable or accounting experience preferred

• Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred, or equivalent experience

• Strong working knowledge of SAP required

• QuickBooks experience required

• Experience with 1099 reporting and sales tax compliance preferred

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Professional written and verbal communication skills
