Overview:
A well-established local construction supply company is currently seeking reliable and motivated temporary laborers to assist with the dismantling, moving, and reassembling of racking at their new location in NW Portland. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and have the ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Labor: Assist with various tasks around the job site as directed by the supervisor.
• Racking Dismantling & Moving: Safely take down, transport, and reassemble racking systems within the new warehouse space.
• Use of Hand Tools: Utilize basic hand tools (e.g., wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.) to dismantle and reassemble equipment as needed. Proper training will be provided, but a basic understanding of tool use is preferred.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm

Pay Rate: $19.00/HR

Qualifications/Requirements:

• General Labor Experience: Previous experience in a construction or warehouse setting is a plus but not required.
• Mechanical Inclination: Ability to understand and handle simple mechanical tasks. Some comfort with using hand tools is important.
• Safety-Conscious: Adherence to safety standards and procedures is crucial.
• Reliable and Punctual: Ability to show up on time and work efficiently with little supervision.
