The Business Development Specialist''s main focus is on acquiring new business opportunities. This role involves reaching out to decision-makers, utilizing various sales techniques and tools, and engaging with potential clients to secure accounts. The successful candidate will need to employ consultative selling skills, digital marketing platforms, and persistence to excel in this role.
- Generate a minimum of two new clients weekly through effective sales activity.
- Engage with decision-makers through calls, virtual meetings, and in-person visits.
- Qualify prospects and schedule 15 appointments per week.
- Develop sales plans for top prospects and execute marketing strategies.
- Enhance brand awareness through social media engagement and content creation.
- Utilize automated marketing tools for effective outreach.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align sales and recruiting efforts.
- Implement the Total Client Care sales strategy to present full-service capabilities.
- Maintain compliance with legal guidelines related to employment.
- Bachelor''s degree in marketing/business communications or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated success in direct sales and social selling (B2B or B2C).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, social platforms, and email marketing tools.
- Familiarity with content management systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to effectively use digital networking platforms.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
- Primarily office-based work with occasional travel to client locations.
- Ability to carry marketing materials and work under stress.
- Flexibility for occasional out-of-town trips.
