Salary: $14.00-$18.00 DOE

Role Description The Laboratory Assistant is a full-time. This role supports daily laboratory operations related to metal finishing and plating processes, including preparing chemical solutions, collecting and labeling samples, and performing routine tests and measurements.

 The Laboratory Assistant assists with monitoring bath chemistry, recording test results, and maintaining accurate documentation for quality control and regulatory purposes.

Day-to-day responsibilities include cleaning, organizing lab supplies, and following established safety procedures and company policies. The role also collaborates with production and quality teams to communicate test findings and help resolve process or quality issues.

 Qualifications

• Analytical skills for monitoring processes and interpreting test results.
• Experience with laboratory equipment 
• effective communication skills to report findings clearly and collaborate with production, quality, and management teams.
• Basic math and data entry skills, with the ability to accurately record and review measurements and test data.
• Knowledge of safety procedures for working with chemicals and laboratory environments; adherence to PPE and regulatory requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in chemistry, laboratory science, or related fields is beneficial.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, and perform hands-on tasks collecting samples and testing in the lab.
