Job Summary/Company Information: 

• A family owned and operated pool and spa company located in Johnson County, is looking to hire a Retail Front Counter Associate!  Duties will include the following:
• Greet/Assist customers and respond to customer inquiries and/or complaints
• Test pool water samples from customers
• Organize shelves and displays and sell merchandise
• Perform inventory counts, stock inventory, and rotate stock as needed 
• Balance cash drawer, make deposits, and separate charge slips and vouchers
• Maintain database of customer information with accuracy

 Pay/Benefits:

• $17/hr

Schedule: *34-38 hours weekly. Must have availability to work during the following hours of operation:

• November-April: Mon-Thurs from 9am-6pm; Fri. 9am-5pm; Sat. 9am-3pm; Closed Sunday
• May, June, July, August:  Mon-Fri from 9am-7pm; Sat. 9am-4pm; Sun. 11a-3pm
• September, October: Mon-Fri from 9am-7pm; Sat. 9am-3pm; closed Sunday

 Requirements:

• Experience in customer service or retail sales required
• Self-motivated and eager to learn
• Able to take direction well and retain product knowledge
• Advanced Microsoft Outlook, Word, & Excel experience
• Point of Sale system experience a huge plus!
• Should be able to work well both as a team and on an independent basis
