Shift: Mon-Fri 3:45 pm -12:15 am (Overtime always available)

Job Description:

The primary tasks of the Fabrication Welder involve building machine frames and components out of structural steel, followed by tearing down completed machines to prepare for transport.

  • MIG welding and fabrication of machine frames and components that consist of light gauge sheet metal to heavy gauge tube, flat bar and I-Beam
  • Fabricating industrial ovens, safety guarding, vacuum tanks, swing doors, fan brackets, catwalks
  • Grinding and finishing completed products
  • Perform quality checks on finished components
  • Installing finished components into machine structures
  • Disassembling machines for painting and shipping
  • Material handling with sit-down forklifts and overhead cranes

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • MIG welding and/or fabrication experience
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints (or ability to learn)
  • Experience with saws, shears, drill presses, forklifts, and cranes are a plus
