What You’ll Do

In this dynamic role, you’ll support overall planer mill operations by filling in where needed and keeping production running smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

• Relieve Planer Mill employees during breaks, vacations, and absences
• Perform a variety of roles within the planer mill, including:
  • Labor / Clean-Up
  • Sticker Stacker
  • Trim End Puller
  • Bander & Bander Helper
  • Lumber Stacker
  • Pull Chain Operator
  • Forklift Driver (or willingness to become certified)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient production

What We’re Looking For

Preferred Experience:

• Background in a planer mill, sawmill, lumber yard, or industrial setting
• Familiarity with lumber grades and quality standards
• Experience operating machinery is a strong plus

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Good depth perception, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail
• Ability to adapt quickly and assist in multiple areas as needed

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable standing and moving for extended periods
• Capable of working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
