Salary: $22/hr

The Specialized Recruiting Group of Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a Greenwood Manufacturing company who is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Representative, Evaluation to Hire position. 

 Job Summary/Company Information:  

• Posts payables by verifying and entering transactions
• Resolve valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries
• Resolve accounts by examining vendor statements & coordinating payments with Cash Manager
• Obtain proper information and/or data vendor payments
• Clarify any questionable invoice items, prices or receiving signatures
• Create and maintain spreadsheets, and other duties as assigned
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• Review and investigate receipts of inventory
• Enter and upload A/P invoices into system; ensure proper coding on documents
• Assist with month end closing

 Pay/Benefits:

• $22/hr
• Employee training
• Medical benefits, Health Savings Account, 401K, Holiday Pay, and PTO upon hire
• Evaluation-to-hire opportunity

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (40 hour work week)

 

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Proficient in data entry and management
• Knowledge of general accounting procedures

 

Preferred Education and Experience:

•  BS degree in Finance, or Business Administration
•  Customer service orientation
•  High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
