Job Overview:

The Manufacturing Supervisor position at our company in Central Oregon is a key role responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe working environment, overseeing the workforce, and optimizing production efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement lean manufacturing methodologies, and ensure compliance with schedules and quality standards. Your strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills will contribute to achieving customer commitments, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Job Responsibilities:

1.       Safety and Performance:

·         Ensure all team members adhere to safety procedures and policies, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement in safety performance.

·         Oversee the workforce to ensure optimal performance, maintaining process controls and identifying opportunities for efficiency enhancements.

·         Provide support to facility activities, ensuring key initiatives are met and maintaining a safe working environment.

2.       Manufacturing Operations:

·         Support all manufacturing teams and manage the efficient integration of workflow to optimize productivity and output.

·         Ensure compliance with schedules for machines and facilities, coordinating resources to meet production targets and deadlines.

·         Maintain the quality of all products within required parameters and develop schedules for quality inspections and control measures.

3.       Customer Service:

·         Maintain an optimal level of customer service for both internal and external customers, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction with our products and services.

·         Collaborate with the operation team to implement manufacturing goals, using appropriate lean manufacturing methodologies to streamline processes and eliminate waste.

·         Ensure achievement of all customer commitments and internal business metrics, such as on-time delivery, quality standards, and cost targets.

4.       Personnel Management:

·         Conduct regular evaluations for personnel, providing feedback on performance and recommending changes in salary as required.

·         Supervise the performance of subordinates, providing guidance, support, and addressing any performance issues that may arise.

Qualifications:

·         1-3 years of supervisory manufacturing experience preferred.

·         Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and quality control.

·         Excellent communication and leadership skills.

·         Ability to analyze and improve workflow efficiency.

·         Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
