We are helping a 40-year-old, Motion Control company expanding into Noblesville find a Sales Development Representative to join their growing team. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a vital role in generating new opportunities for our client''s sales department. Working closely with the sales team, you will effectively communicate and collaborate to bring these opportunities to the next stage of the sales cycle. Starting as an Inside Sales Representative, you will receive comprehensive training and, typically within six months, transition into outside Sales Development.

 

This is a direct hire opportunity. Your salary will start at $22.00 per hour while training as an Inside Sales Representative and increase to $50,000 - $55,000 base plus unlimited commission when you become a Sales Development Representative.

Responsibilities:
  • Utilize existing tools to drive more opportunities to the sales qualified lead (SQL) stage of the sales cycle.
  • Effectively manage leads, and when leads reach the SQL stage, collaborate with the product manager (PM) or a sales team member.
  • Make warm calls and send engaging emails to potential prospects.
  • Prepare quotes, with assistance from the PM or customer service (CSR) if needed.
  • Communicate directly with customers, providing exceptional service.
  • Foster a positive team environment by assisting and supporting co-workers.
  • 20% travel within Indiana.
 
Skills:
  • Strong multitasking abilities, excellent prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Possess an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand how systems and parts work.
  • Prior sales experience is desired but not required.
 
Education:
  • High School Diploma.
 
Experience:
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, including proficiency in computer applications such as email and internet navigation.
