Position: Production Assembler / General Production Worker
Type: Full-time (40 hours/week), evaluation-to-hire
Schedule:
1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 AM
2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM
Overtime may be required on Fridays
Pay: $18.50 – $21.50 per hour
Location: Red Wing, MN
General Summary:
Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a manufacturing company in the Red Wing area to hire dependable Production Assemblers. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment to assemble, test, and package products using hand tools, power tools, and production equipment. Candidates should be comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Job Duties:
• Assemble sub-assemblies, components, and finished products in assembly line or work cell settings
• Use small hand tools and light power tools to complete tasks
• Operate production equipment such as presses, wash stations, and small machines
• Perform testing and inspection to ensure product quality
• Package finished goods for shipment
• Form and handle various metals
• Rotate between job duties and stations as needed
• Maintain a steady work pace while following safety guidelines
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is preferred
• At least one year of experience using hand or power tools is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Willingness to be cross-trained and multitask
• Steel-toe boots and proper PPE required in some areas
