Express Employment Professionals of West Seneca is recruiting for a Draftsman Engineer for our client located in Clarence. The Draftsman Engineer must have excellent communication, attention to detail, extremely cautious and safety minded. This is a fast-paced environment and the ideal candidate will be resourceful and able to work independently. Company has excellent benefits and room for growth

 

Mon-Fri 7:00 am- 3:30 pm

$24+/Hour

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform all aspects of engineering work as assigned by engineering manager.
• Create prints to meet all customer requirements.
• Use computer assisted design/drafting equipment and software.
• Manage several projects at one time if needed.
• Assists shop floor, manufacturing, quality, and planning as required.
• Use computer assisted CNC programming software and equipment to develop machine programs.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment; maintains compliance with all established company and OSHA safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

• Knowledge of fabricated sheet metal manufacturing
• Experience with SolidWorks, Auto-Cad or other 3-D Software
• Translates concepts and information into images; uses feedback to modify designs; applies design principles; demonstrates attention to detail
• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or 2 year Technical degree in a similar field.
