Part time – Temp to hire

Monday thru Friday – 9am to 2pm

$21hr to $24hr depending on experience

 

Busy producer and supplier of high-end LED based lighting systems for motion pictures, television, TV broadcast, and photography communities is looking for a part time Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team in Burbank.

 

Summary: Work under supervision and follow established procedures to maintain accounting records and process account payables according to standard accounting procedures.

 

Responsibilities:

• Process and validate all expense bills for management review.
• Review and verify invoices and check requests.
• Enter and upload invoices into system.
• Process payments.
• Track expenses and process expense reports.
• Matching Invoices to Purchase Orders and Receivers.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
• Maintain vendor files.
• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
• Other duties assigned.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 1+ years of experience in accounts payable.
• Ability to learn quickly
• Self-motivated with ability multitask, high math and logical aptitude.
• Excellent organization skills, attention to detail.
• Strong work ethics, confidentiality, ability to work well with others.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Order Entry.
• Customer service oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills.
