Manufacturing Associate

Responsibilities

• Use state of the art manufacturing tools, precision equipment, and machinery
• ability to trouble shoot
• follow verbal and written instructions for specialized equipment
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules and within standard times
• Collaborate closely with technicians and engineers
• Identify discrepancies both in writing and verbally to supervisor
• Inspect own work and report self-discovered defects / errors 
• Evaluate processes and equipment to look for continuous improvement opportunities.

Required Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 + years relevant manufacturing experience or Lean Manufacturing certificate preferred
• Preferred Mechanical Technical Training or experience 
• Strong mechanical background knowledge of various engines
• Experience in Manufacturing or Assembly work
• Knowledge of Windows computers / data entry
• Surface inspection techniques
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing / machinery instructions
• Must be reliable (on time, present and ready to work hard)
• Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend/ stoop, or operate office equipment or machinery.
• Ability to perform repetitious duties, including walking long distances and standing for long periods of time.
