Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to join our client's team. As a Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe work environment for all employees and promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA regulations
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards
Train and educate employees on safe work practices and procedures
Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and develop corrective action plans
Manage and maintain safety-related documentation and records
Participate in safety committees and meetings
Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to safety

Requirements:

Two years of experience in a safety-related position
OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to identify potential hazards and develop effective solutions
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other related software
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
