Job Summary: A successful business in Alabaster is looking for a sharp, part time addition to their small office team in a blue jeans environment. Could transition into full time job down the road if desired by candidate and company.
Here's What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like:
- Sorting and delivering incoming mail and collecting and sending outgoing mail
- Create documents, maintain databases and sending memos and emails
- Running errands and making deliveries around the office or to external parties
- Collecting, filing and organizing office documents, such as reports and confidential records
- Managing digital document filing, including encrypted documents and email correspondence
- Monitoring office inventory and ordering supplies
- Transcribing or taking notes during meetings and writing minutes, memos and/or agendas
- Packaging and shipping company materials
Schedule & Pay:
- Mon-Fri, 8am – 12pm, or 1pm – 5pm
- $17.00 - 18.00/hr. to start, depending on experience & skillset

- High typing speed and accuracy
- Good computer skills, including basic troubleshooting and using word processing, excel spreadsheet, presentation and email software applications
- Problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently with little-to-no supervision
