Job Summary/Company Information:
- A company in the Columbus, IN area is looking to hire their next Skilled Machinist.
- The Skilled Machinist will be operating various CNCs, manual mills, manual lathes, and surface grinders in addition to other types of equipment to create custom parts from blueprints.
- This is a family-friendly company that values employees!
Pay/Benefits:
- $22-26 based on experience.
- The company is willing to train the right mechanically-inclined individual at a pay rate of $16+
- Medical, dental, and 401k with match upon hire on
- PTO
Schedule:
- Regular schedule is 7am-3:30pm including some partial days on Saturdays with overtime
Requirements:
- 5+ years of manual machining experience
- Knowledge of blueprints, GD&T knowledge, and strong mechanical aptitude is a must
- Owning calipers, micrometers, etc. is a plus!
- Must be reliable and have the ability to manage multiple projects
- Previous TIG experience is a plus
