Express Employment Professionals in Chanhassen is currently seeking General Production candidates for a great Glass Company.  This position is to visually examine and/or gauge glassware and pack in cartons as required and insert inner parts in filled cartons. This is a Direct Hire position and pays $22/hr. and the schedule is swing shift.

 

Responsibilities:  

• Places offware in cullet tray or other receptacle for removal.
• Sets up ware on single line equipment, lehr, etc. and clears jams in automatic case packers and/or conveyors as required.
• Reselects, discards cavities and packs acceptable ware as required.
• Identifies cartons with stamp number, as required.
• Ties batch of empty cartons as required.
• Removes damaged cartons from conveyor and discards into scrap bin.
• Discards unused cartons on job changes, as required.
• Maintains count of scrapped cartons.
• Performs miscellaneous tasks as required.
• Lifting up to 20lbs when needed and stand up for 8 hrs.
• Steel toed shoes are required
