Financial Administrative Assistant for a Wealth Management Group in Cheektowaga, NY!

 

Hours: M-F / 9am-5pm

Pay: up to $45k/year

 

Position Overview

The primary responsibility of this position is to assist Financial Professional(s) by organizing and ensuring proper completion of all client paperwork, following-up on client service issues, maintaining files, and performing various tasks as needed.

 

Position Requirements

  • 6-12 months securities or related industry experience
  • Strong detail orientation including the ability to review forms for accuracy and completeness
  • Ability to create a positive work environment, be punctual and proactive
  • Ability to effectively function as a team player
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and handle multiple tasks and competing responsibilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers, clients, and various business contacts in a courteous and professional manner
  • Ability to be at work on a regular basis
  • Skill in effective verbal and written communication
  • Skill in software technology and office equipment including the willingness to research, self-study of technology options to create efficiency.

Position Duties/Tasks

  • Organize, coordinate, and maintain all client paperwork.
  • Correspond with clients to complete new accounts, asset transfers, and other forms.
  • Maintain client files.
  • Take client service inquiries.
  • Resolve client problems and/or forward to appropriate person for handling.
  • Communicate with the broker/dealer and product (mutual fund & insurance) contacts.
  • Maintain broker records, logs, and blotters.
  • Utilize internet-based technology to process and follow-up on business.
  • Perform daily tasks and maintain duties as related to office activities and client meetings.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments for existing clients.
  • Prep, process and follow up on client account forms.
  • Perform various miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
