Job Summary: A local company is looking to add Production Maintenance Technician to their locations in Seattle, WA.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing machines, tools, and equipment used to support the company's manufacturing processes. This position ensures that facilities and equipment are in proper working condition to create a safe work environment for employees. The Maintenance Technician performs preventative maintenance, mechanical repairs, and building maintenance, and tracks maintenance work, equipment, and parts
This is a long-term, full-time temp-to-hire position where you will be working onsite and mobile in the greater Seattle area.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7am-430pm M-F
Pay: $29-33 DOE
Job Duties:
- Perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment
- Diagnose and repair tools, machines, and equipment
- Maintain and repair facilities, office equipment, and warehouse area
- Support production, engineering, ME, and QA with mechanical projects
- Maintain and track spare parts, tools, and equipment lifespan and cost
- Maintain and track completed preventative maintenance and repair work
- Maintain replacement part inventory and purchase tools, spare parts, and supplies
- Track and log the purchase of tools, equipment, parts, and supplies
- Complete set-up and changeover on equipment for production
- Use hand tools and measuring equipment
- Operate various shop equipment
- Assess and determine solutions for equipment failure
- Assist in optimizing manufacturing processes and equipment
- Provide safety training and support to Manufacturing Team
- Assist in producing product when required
Requirements:
- 2-3 years mechanical maintenance experience
- Maintenance or Mechanical Certification preferred
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with specialized equipment software preferred
- Ability to work with others supporting company values and principles
- Complete job duties with minimal supervision
- Ability to effectively use tools and equipment to perform job duties
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Able to diagnose complex equipment problems and determine solutions and opportunities for improvement
- Must be able to perform physical activities such as sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pulling/pushing, kneeling, twisting, grasping, and walking
- Moderate moving, transporting, and positioning of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
