Work Environment

This role is set in a warehouse that is not heated or insulated, so you’ll experience changing temperatures throughout the year. If you enjoy active, hands-on work and don’t mind the elements, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Do

• Train to safely and efficiently operate a machining center in the sawmill
• Start on the Sticker/Stacker, learning each step of the process
• Assist with cleanup and routine maintenance during downtime
• Follow all safety procedures while developing independence in your role
• Work closely with team members to keep production running smoothly

What We’re Looking For

Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to safely operate machinery and perform lumber production tasks
• Strong attention to detail, decision-making skills, and situational awareness
• Good manual dexterity and a reliable, team-focused attitude

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods
• Lift and move lumber (up to 50 lbs occasionally)
• Work in environments with temperature changes and airborne particles (sawdust)
