$27hr to $32hr depending on experience.

Monday thru Friday - 6am to 2:30pm

 

Busy manufacturer and foundry in Sun Valley specializing in in high quality Aluminum Die Casting and Zinc Die Casting using a unique Vacuum Die Casting Process is looking for a Die Cast Production Supervisor to join their team.

 

Summary: Seeking a Die Cast Production Supervisor to apply safety precautions, mechanical experience, job training, and good communication to obtain the product of a trained, efficient die cast production team producing high quality and volume die castings shipped on-time to customers.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure all production machine safety equipment is working correctly at all times.
• Ensure all production employees use proper safety equipment at all times.
• Immediately correct any harmful and potentially harmful safety conditions.
• Immediately report any safety conditions or violations to the production manager.
• Ensure correct die cast tooling bench set-ups and machine set-ups for production.
• Supervise and train production employees.
• Identify, correct and prevent minor production machinery-related problems.
• Promptly communicate any problems to the production manager.
• Ensure correct die set-up forms are used and maintained.
• Monitor machine and operator performance to ensure performance to optimum safety, capability and approved start-up production conditions.
• Monitor production to ensure customer requirements are obtained.
• Ensure daily production machine lubrications are performed.
• Record and maintain daily and weekly machine and operator production statistics.
• Utilize production employees, equipment and facilities to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Apply safety precautions, mechanical experience, job training, and good communication to obtain the product of a trained, efficient die cast production team producing high quality and volume die castings shipped on-time to customers.
• Maintain good communication with production manager and all other employees.
• Maintain safe, clean and organized production areas and facility at all times.

 

Requirements:

• 4 years' of manufacturing experience.
• Previous management experience.
• Previous experience meeting production standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
