$17 to $23hr depending on experience.

Monday thru Friday - 6am to 2:30pm

 

 

Busy Engineering & Manufacturing company in Glendale specializing in aviation components is looking for a Disassembly Technician to join their team.

 

Summary: The company is an FAA Certified Repair Stations specializing in the hydraulic component maintenance requirement airlines, repair stations, OEMs and distributors worldwide. With nearly 60 years of industry experience this company has established itself as a leader in aviation. A key component of this position is to improve workflow, implementing standard work and instill continuous improvement through problem solving methodology.

 

Responsibilities:

• Prepare parts for disassembly.
• Read manual drawings and follow instructions.
• Uses hand tools and shop power tools.
• Disassemble a range of simple to complex hydraulic aircraft components that require precise placement.
• Responsible for inspecting, cleaning and assembling wheel assembly components into final assembly and performing required testing necessary for final product acceptance.
• Perform work according to the Components Maintenance Manuals provided by the OEM and Service Orders.
• Ensure that all rebuilt parts have been disassembled, cleaned, inspected and repaired as necessary.
• Ensures that all rebuilt products are tested to the same tolerances and limits as a new item, to approved oversized or undersized dimensions.

 

Qualifications:

• This individual must be able to operate hydraulic test equipment after appropriate training.
• Familiarity and experience with basic hand tools, power tools and other auxiliary machines.
• Responsible for working in a safe manner and observing all company procedures regarding environmental, health, and safety matters
• Previous experience in assembly/disassembly or manufacturing.
