Monday thru Friday - 7am to 3:30pm

$20 to $30hr depending on experience.

 

Busy custom parts manufacturer in Burbank, specializing in custom manufactured Emblem and Badges to the OE world, is looking for an experienced production painter to join their team.

 

Summary: This company produces custom components for single unit prototype concept cars, limited production special vehicles and have supported long-range high volume production runs. Continuous improvement has allowed us to remain on top in the manufacture and supply of quality products for the automotive, marine and commercial industries.

 

Requirements:

• Proficient with High Volume Low Pressure (HVLP) spray guns for application of 2 component urethane paint products.
• Must have knowledge of how to mix paints using appropriate thinners and reducers.
• Be capable of reading and understanding technical documents such as paint mixing procedures, and maintaining sprayer equipment as required.
• Selecting and mixing coating paints to desired color and prepare spraying equipment such as cleaning or adjusting spray guns
• Must have a good understanding of proper cleaning, masking and preparation of parts for painting.
• Willingness to take direction from area lead and follow that direction and to be a self-starter when not working under direct supervision.
• Maintaining the paint mix room while following the company safety policies.
• Must have good vision and attention to detail.
• Strong math skills, must be able to make measurements and document.
• Maintaining proper respirator care and operation.
