Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Medical Office Manager for a Tyler, Tx, company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!

In this role, you will:

  • Adheres to and implements all company policies and procedures
  • Ensures compliance with DME certification and company quality improvement programs
  • Responsible for compiling information required by the billing company as well as ensuring DME staff compliance
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of current insurance regulations
  • Educate patients on the application, use, care, and expected product outcome as indicated by the physician's instructions and manufacturer recommendations
  • Educate patients regarding insurance plans and provisions, financial responsibility, and collection of the patient portion
  • Ensure that all necessary documentation is obtained as it relates to payer requirements (insurance verification/authorization), standard operating procedures, and any other compliance requirements
  • Process new orders for durable medical equipment via phone calls, e-mails, faxes, web portals, and walk-ins
  • Complete sales orders, answers phone, and triage patients
  • Comply with all elements of HIPAA and other required programs

We like to hear from candidates with the following:

  • Must have a minimum of five plus years DME experience and equal experience
  • Great communication and business acumen skills, along with excellent team leadership skills
  • Must be highly computer literate
  • Ability to bend, squat, and reach
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
