Maintenance Technician

Located in Olympia, WA

Salary: $40,000/year

Express is now hiring for a Maintenance Technician at a Real Estate company based out of Olympia , WA. This is an Direct Hire opportunity. The schedule will be Monday-Friday 7AM to 4PM. The salary for this position will be $40,000/year. This company offers a benefits package to include Paid vacation after 6 months, Paid holidays & sick leave, Retirement plan after 3 yrs plus mileage reimbursement.

 

Job Duties:

• The maintenance staff reviews the work orders, prioritizes them, determines what tools or supplies are need, contacts tenant if necessary and then starts on the day’s tasks. 

   

  Tasks may include (but are not limited to):

  • Morning door unlocking and trash pick up
  • Fixing a dripping sink
  • Repairing or unplugging a toilet
  • Fixing a garbage disposal
  • Painting
  • Pressure washing, cleaning gutters
  • Getting rid of a wasp nest
  • Replacing light bulbs

 

Job Requirements:

• • Experience working in a maintenance related position
  • Must possess valid Washington State Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Be physically fit and able to lift 50 pounds unassisted, climb a ladder
  • Have a wide range of maintenance skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work unsupervised.
  • Maintain a personable and professional manner.
  • Able to respond to emergency calls during non-business hours, if necessary.
  • Be able to diagnose maintenance problems and assess the most cost and time efficient manner in which to handle those maintenance needs.
  • Be able to communicate well with property managers, office staff and tenants.
  • High level of customer service.
  • Ability to use mobile applications for scheduling and tracking work
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
