Quality Control Technician

Located on the Eastside of Indianapolis, IN

Job Summary: 

East Indianapolis manufacturing company is looking for someone that can read blueprints and is very detail oriented to join their team as a Quality Control Technician. 

 

Location: East Indianapolis, IN

Position Type: Evaluation Hire

Pay:  $17+/hour      

Schedule: M-F 7:00am-3:30pm

 

Job Duties:

• Check parts before being shipped to customer to ensure they meet specifications
• Direct production team as needed to fix or redo parts
• Assist in completion of 8D investigations and corrective action implementation
• Support Document Control System in accordance to Quality Manual and ISO 9001 Standard Requirements
• May need to assist with production or running machines as needed
• Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications: 

• Ability to read blueprints
• 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing and quality assurance
• Understanding of ISO 9001, 140001 etc. implementation and compliance
• Experience in completing PPAP’s & 8D’s
• Ability to direct production as needed to ensure all parts meet customer specifications
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred
• Prior experience working in a production environment required
