Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Summary: Our company is seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts. The ideal candidate must have experience with both CNC mills and lathes, and must possess a strong understanding of CNC programming, tool selection, and machine setup.

Responsibilities:

• Setup and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Write and edit CNC programs using G-code and other programming languages
• Select and install cutting tools, fixtures, and other accessories
• Monitor machine operations and adjust settings as necessary to ensure quality and productivity
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
• Maintain accurate records of job orders, production reports, and quality control documents
• Work closely with other members of the production team to meet production schedules and deadlines
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC machinist
• Proficiency in CNC programming, including G-code and other programming languages
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Knowledge of cutting tool selection, machine setup, and toolpath optimization
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work overtime when needed

Salary and Schedule: This is a full-time position, with a starting hourly rate of $20-22.00 per hour. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:00am to 4:30pm, with occasional overtime required.
