Yard Associate / Delivery Driver

Location: Eugene, OR
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay: $20.00 per hour

Job Overview

Seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Associate to join our team. This position involves pulling orders, assisting with product assembly, loading and unloading materials, and helping maintain an organized yard. Candidates may also be responsible for operating company delivery vehicles when needed.

This is a physically demanding position that is performed primarily outdoors. Successful candidates must be comfortable working in various weather conditions and be committed to safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Pull and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Assist with basic assembly of equipment and materials
• Load and unload trucks safely
• Organize and maintain inventory in the yard
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment as needed (training may be provided)
• Deliver materials using company vehicles when required
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Assist with general yard maintenance and housekeeping

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
• Ability to safely operate company delivery vehicles
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials throughout the day
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Previous warehouse, yard, delivery, or construction experience is preferred but not required

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, and standing
• Ability to perform physically demanding work for the duration of the shift
• Ability to work outdoors year-round
