Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for an exciting long-term opportunity with a reputable manufacturing company. We are hiring for labourers interested in working with sheet metal, assisting welders, painting, prepping materials, and shipping and receiving. Responsibilities

• Manufacturing and finishing of prefabricated e-houses (specifically the floor, sides, panels, and roofs)
• Shipping/Receiving of homes and related components
• Assisting with the fabricating process of sheet metal and steel by grinding materials
• Usage of hand/power tools such as drills and tape measurers
• Placing material in correct places
• Looking at shop drawings or blueprints to know where parts need to be assembled
• Painting parts using paint sprayers, spray-paint cans, or brushes
• Assisting with placing sheets of insulation into correct places in the house structure
• Assisting a welder or team member by getting materials ready and placing brackets in the correct places for welders to weld together
• Painting crevasses
• Grinding galvanized or corrugated sheet metal

Skills for Success

• Strong attention to detail
• Painting skills
• Understanding and reading a tape measurer
• Previous hand/power tool experience
• Previous assembly, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience is a huge asset
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to climb 6ft. ladders
• Steel toed boots/shoes is a requirement

Schedule

• Day shifts (Monday to Friday) 7:00am – 3:30pm, overtime avaiaible from 3:30 – 5:30pm

• $16-18/Hour
