Lead Packaging Operator

Salary: $19.56/hour

Exciting opportunity to work for a well-established local company in a clean room environment! Based in Lafayette, they create a product found in health food stores internationally. The warehouse department is seeking an experienced packaging lead to operate multiple packaging machines as well as assist the Packaging manager with production schedules. Job tasks for the Lead Packaging Operator include: 

 

• Check in and reconcile material for bottling runs using pull sheets  
• Set up and operate multiple packaging machinery including packagers, labelers, and weighing systems  
• Give direction to ensure production schedules are met 
• Help solve machine or interpersonal problems (so production can continue) 
• Give input on employees’ reviews and employment status 
• Produce disciplinary write-ups (only if assigned by management) 
• Perform all in-process quality control checks and ensure the quality of the product being produced is within company standards.  
• Interface with Packaging management on a daily basis 

 

Pay: $19.56/hour 

Schedule: Tuesday-Friday 5:00am – 3:30pm 

Location: Lafayette, CO 

Position Type: Full-time 

Packaging Lead Operator Qualifications: 2+ years experience in production and/or packaging required. Previous lead experience required.
