Quality Assurance Technician

 

Express Employment Professionals – St. Paul, MN is currently assisting a metal component manufacturer to find a Quality Assurance Technician to ensure the quality of their metal products.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 AM - 4:30 PM

 

Pay is $18-$21/hr. depending on experience

 

This is an Evaluation-to-Hire opportunity.

 

Responsibilities:

• Inspection of metal components & associated documentation
• Follow blueprint and set proper specifications to ensure quality of metal components
• Verify that established production and quality processes are being followed to provide defect-free components
• Administer corrective action when processes are not being followed
• Analyze all procedures, materials, techniques and equipment for process improvements

General Qualifications:

• Ability to read prints
• Ability to use variety of hand tools: squares, calipers, micrometers, rulers, indicators, precision blocks, height gauges, CMM
• Ability to use computers and software applications
• High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent experience
• 2+ years inspection experience
• ISO 9001:2015 knowledge a plus
