Welder | $18 - $25 Hourly - Based on Experience | Hutchinson, Kansas

 

A local Hutchinson company is searching for Welders who will spend the majority of the workday welding carbon steel plates under prescribed conditions, working with grinders, stick or MiG welders and other tools as required. 

Want to be our newest team member? You should have experience in using electrical or manual tools, along with being familiar with blueprints and welding symbols.

 

You will operate appropriate equipment to put together mechanical structures or parts with a great deal of precision. Your job is important as it provides the foundation for strong infrastructure.

Your role is a critical area for incoming and outgoing projects for our clients. Our staff, including our welding teams will work independently, taking the lead on safety reporting and tracking, acting as an internal resource for recommendations for design.

What we look for in Welders:

• Capable of lifting up to 70 pounds and 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to bend, stoop and squat or perform duties with reasonable accommodation
• Knowledge of stick, MiG and duo-shield welding
• Must be able to read and understand a tape measure
• Must be capable of following verbal and/or written instructions
