Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a leading manufacturer to help them find their next Purchasing Manager! This is a direct hire role.
The ideal candidate is someone who’s had 4+ years of experience managing others and has hands-on purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
Pay & Benefits:
- $75-85k based on experience

Schedule: This is a first shift position with some overtime as required.

Job Duties & Requirements:
- Responsible for purchasing approximately 50% of the products for the facility, placing orders, negotiating with suppliers, and keeping a close eye on inventory.
- Will lead and develop a small team of purchasing coordinators and assistants.
- Previous experience negotiating and utilizing an MRP system is required
- Requires previous purchasing and management experience; related bachelors degree is a plus!
- High levels of attention to detail in addition to the ability to see the big picture are required.
