Installer/Fabricator

Located in Carbondale, IL

Salary: $13-17/hr

We are currently working with a company in Carbondale looking for a Shop Fabricator and Field Installer.  These positions will help in producing cabinets, countertops, and performing installations. 

 

*This position is Full-Time and Long-Term. Pay is negotiable, but depends on level of experience. 

 

*Experience in cabinetry, countertops, carpentry, and/or construction preferred. Also open to entry level person who is willing to learn and has basic math skills and can read a tape measurer. 

 

Job Duties:

• Assisting with cabinet and countertop making
• Installation
• Working with supervisors and other laborers
• Polishing and working with the water table
• Operating a forklift
• Customer service
• Perform other job duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Someone dependable, motivated, and willing to learn
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Willing to learn design and installation procedures
• Recent experience in construction or labor
• Knowledge of how to use power tools
• Able to read a tape measure
• Able to do basic math skills
• Able to maintain safety standards
• Willing to be a team player
