Food Inventory Coord. / Unit Clerk - Every Other Weekend

Salary: $16.00/hr. to start

Part Time Every Other Weekend (Saturday & Sunday)

TWO SHIFTS AVAILABLE: 7:00am-3:30pm, 11:00pm-7:30am

Pay rate: $16.00/hr 

Here's What Makes YOU a Great Candidate:

• Education: High school graduate or GED. PLEASE HAVE COPY OF DIPLOMA or GED CERTIFICATE WITH YOU FOR INTERVIEW.
• Experience: Prefer 1 year min. experience working in an inpatient/outpatient or hospital setting. A PLUS if psychiatric facility

• General knowledge of commercial kitchen operations
• Must be able to function under limited supervision
• Exhibit proper personal grooming and dress appropriately
• Working knowledge of office devices and processes
• Excellent communication skills
• Very good organizational and multitasking abilities
• Trained in or willing to be trained in crisis intervention, specifically Therapeutic Options

Here's What You’ll Be Doing – Assist staff as necessary to ensure that daily facility operations are functioning smoothly. It involves the performance of day-to-day operations related to administrative duties, reporting, auditing, and food distribution at the Center.

Primary Duties:

• Assist front desk when needed including phone, processing entry into system, etc.
• Collect & track data, create reports as needed/required for the various departments
• Assist with food services for patients including rotation of all food items/ingredients in inventory to prevent waste
• Responsible for safe, proper, and efficient use of all kitchen equipment
• Oversee the delivery & picking up of meals daily including distributing food & snacks
• Coordinate with Manager to determine proper quantities of meals required daily to meet consumer needs and prevent waste
• Report any maintenance of equipment and ensure equipment is serviced on a regular basis and in good/safe working order
• Stock and monitor supplies and report on any shortages
• Maintain files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible
• Review/maintain daily census logs to ensure accuracy and completion (Temporary Observation and Extended Observation)
• Compete follow-up data and documents required for all individuals discharged from the Crisis Care Center
