The Specialized Recruiting Group of Express Employment is recruiting a part-time Administrator for a family owned and operated funeral services company located on the southside of Indy!

 Job Summary/Company Information:   

  • This organization has been family owned and operated for 6 generations! Their long-held values and commitment to families has made them a leader in funeral care.
  • The Administrator is responsible for providing a variety of office, clerical, and funeral service tasks.
  • Duties include: Greet visitors and answer phones in a professional office setting - provide information if able, and/or transfer calls as needed.
  • Prepare, monitor, and maintain client documents for accurate fulfillment of funeral service requests.  This includes the data entry of client information and preparation of prayer cards, memorial folders, death notices, photo slideshows, account statements, etc.
  • Maintain adequate levels of supplies, forms, stationery, register books, acknowledgement cards, pamphlets, etc. as required.
  • Assist with mailings, moving flowers, logging of personal belongings, and any other administrative duties as needed.

Pay/Benefits:

  • $16+/hr based on experience
  • Evaluation to hire opportunity

Schedule: part-time Mon-Fri 3:30p-7:30p

 

Requirements: 

  • The ideal candidate will have recent office experience
  • Able to maintain high standards of ethics, morality, and confidentiality
  • Advanced computer skills required specifically in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Publisher
  • Must be personable and possess empathy and compassion for others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Team-player with the ability to respond positively to confrontation and/or suggestions
