Our client, a company that restores anilox rolls for the printing industry is looking to add two Laser Operators to their team. Best part about this – NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY! If you are willing to work hard with the willingness to learn, they will train you to become a Laser Operator.


Laser Operator job highlights:
• 1st or 2nd shift, or a weekend shift is available as well
• 6am-4:30pm, 4:15pm – 2:45am or the weekend shift: Fri – Sun, 6am – 6:30pm
• Work 4/10-hour shifts with the potential for overtime
• $17.00/hour ($18.00/hour once hired permanently)

Responsibilities of Laser Operators:
• Use dial indicator to ensure roll is running true, use adjustments on the chuck to make roll run true
• Use specialized measuring equipment to verify engraving specifications
• Polish engraving to customer/company specifications
• Set up machines efficiently
• Use overhead crane, or by hand, to load and unload product
• Know, understand, and follow all Standard Operating Procedures and Standard Practice Instructions
• Assist in standard engraving areas with setups, engraving, polishing, inspection and changeouts
• Other duties, when necessary, as specified by management
• Total accountability (all aspects of the position)

Qualifications of Laser Operators:
• High school Diploma or Equivalent
• Manufacturing experience a plus but not necessary
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work overtime as required by the company
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to read or ability to learn to read measuring devices such as: tape measures and micrometers
• Ability to read or ability to learn to read blueprints
• Have a strong ability to problem-solve.
• Be punctual, meticulous, have the willingness to learn and cross train
