Human Resources Manager

Salary: $60,000/yr

Do you love people? We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to join a growing team.  The Huma Resources Manager will be primarily responsible for recruiting, onboarding, coordinating temp to perm process, and training. Works in both the IL and St. Louis, MO office and manages time effectively to develop relationships in both locations.  Duties include:

• Conducts a needs assessment and thorough investigation of how HR can best support each area of the organization; discusses ideas and then implements agreed upon strategies
• Presents risks and benefits of employment related issues to leadership
• Primary liaison between employees and leadership
• Develops and maintains introductory and annual training for all employees
• Establishes and develops a comprehensive employee onboarding experience, performance management program, and ongoing employee training plan
• Recruitment, pre-employment screening, and phone interviews for non-exempt positions; participates in interviews; assists in training operations leaders on interview procedures and legal implications; recommends qualified candidates for open positions
• Responsible for new hire and temporary/contractor set up, including entering information in the databases and all required spreadsheets
• Enters weekly and biweekly payroll data for all hourly staff and some company leaders

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HR experience in a fast paced, high-volume environment
• Bachelor's degree or SPHR/SHRM-SCP certification required - both preferred
• Recruiting and training experience
• Attention to details, accuracy, and strong organizational skills
• Solid understanding of human resource functions
• Collaborative approach to working with company leadership is required; someone who explains risks and benefits of the options, and makes recommendations
• Must understand the importance of the risk management aspect of HR as well as demonstrate high integrity in the workplace
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook)
