Solar Project Admin/Permit Coordinator

Located in Redding, CA

Salary: $16-$18/hr DOE

Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm.


-Create customer files and maintain through to job completion

-Prepare diagrams using Intaglio (drawling program) using portal

-Manage permit drawings through outsourcing (Avila Drafting) plot plans and electrical diagrams

-Assemble permit packages, submit and pickup from County/City



-Track customer progress payments due (based on installation progress) and contact customers for cash payments; notify bookkeeper for loan jobs


Other Administrative Duties:

-Attend Monday office staff meeting, prepare agendas, admin support for Project Manager

-Assist with purchasing and delivery schedules

-SunPower portal updates

-Weekly calls to customers for progress updates

-Job scheduling on white board calendar and spreadsheets

-Create job placards for jobs using engraving machine

-Update client status report for job progress

-Update vehicle record binder with repairs and smog checks completed

-Keep vehicle equipment inspection reports

-Updates to OSHA binders


Customer Service:

-Take customer requests for service work and manager in JobProgress (CRM)

-Schedule service calls and warranty work

-RMAs, track payments for service calls from customers/SunPower


Special Projects:

-Assist in sales dept. with incoming and outgoing calls
