Express Employment Professionals is now hiring for a Salem company for a Call Center Customer Service Specialist! This evaluation to hire position is critical to the customer service department for a local Medical company.

The Customer Service Specialist assists members and incoming callers with coverage and claim related questions.

 

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Working in a high volume call center while maintaining a professional and polite demeanor
  • Facilitate resolutions to member, providers, and internal questions in a timely and efficient manner
  • Educate callers/members on benefit and coverage information
  • Document calls and conversations in computer programs
  • Research and investigate customer issues
  • Educate members on utilization of products and services to optimize their benefit
  • Follow privacy and HIPAA laws

 

Qualities Needed:

  • Good listener able to build rapport
  • Excellent customer service
  • Strong Data Entry Skills and Computer PC proficiency
  • Problem solving
  • Maintain knowledge of regulatory compliance and government programs, policies, and procedures

 

Experience Needed:

  • 1 year of call center experience REQUIRED
  • Previous insurance/ healthcare call center experience helpful but not required
  • Typing 40 wpm+
  • High School Diploma / GED

 

Schedule:
This position will work weekends with two days off during the week. Needs to be flexible to work any day, but will have a set schedule. Day Shift.

 

Pay: $17+/hr DOE during evaluation period
