Summary

Civil Engineering & Land Surveying consulting firm located in the Texas Hill Country is seeking a Texas licensed Professional Engineer to provide technical project management for planning, evaluating, designing, and implementing large-scale civil engineering projects.

Job Requirements

  • Manage and coordinate land development and public infrastructure projects
  • Must have strong technical writing skills and ability to effectively communicate with clients, regulatory agencies, and external and internal team members
  • Must be able to develop full civil construction documents for land development projects for single family, multi-family, and commercial developments, as well as public infrastructure projects
  • Perform drainage design calculations, including water modeling for small/large watersheds
  • Perform design calculations for PWS tanks, pumps, and distribution
  • Provide lift station design calculations

-AND/OR-

  • Expertise experience in managing surface water modeling projects for FEMA regulated flood studies

Software Experience

  • AutoCAD Civil 3D expertise in creating and designing complex surfaces, corridors, pipe networks (water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer), parcels, gradings, and profiles

-AND/OR-

  • Hydrologic Modeling (HEC 1, HEC-HMS)
  • Hydraulic Modeling (HEC-2, HEC-RAS, HEC-RAS 2D)
  • Stormwater Basin Routing Software (such as XPSWMM, EPA SWMM, PONDPAK or CIVILSTORM)

  • Demonstrate a dedication to strong moral ethics
  • Ability to prioritize, work efficiently, and have strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Execute a non-compete agreement

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering
  • 5+ years of managing land development and public infrastructure projects or 7+ years of managing surface water modeling projects
  • Active license as a Profession Engineer in the state of Texas with the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors
