Technical Operations Specialist

We are expanding and is looking for a fun, dedicated, detail-oriented friendly person to join our IT team.

The Technical Operations Specialist will review business processes and make recommendations and procedures for improving efficiency and service. The specialist will identify opportunities to help increase profitability and develop specialized services for our clients.

What You Get to Do!

• Data Management
• Metrics and reporting
• Work with vendors/partners to coordinate file layout and transmission schedules/procedures
• Support and manage special projects as assigned by the IT manager
• Review business processes & company policies to help enhance workflow
• Promote culture of safety, compliance, teamwork, and continuous improvement
• Exercise appropriate level of independent judgement on Company proprietary and confidential matters
• Provide support to other areas of the Company as requested or assigned

What You Will Need:

• Experience using excel to compare, analyze, and store large datasets
• Some SQL/PostgreSQL knowledge
• QA or Data Analysis experience
• Experience using SQL to create or edit reports (SSRS, SSIS, Actuate knowledge a plus)
• Ability to translate “IT Speak” to non-IT people
• Familiar with C#, VB or similar programing language
• High School diploma or equivalent required
